Seriously.
Enough is enough. I respect that Gainax is overjoyed that a project
that no other company would touch ended up bringing them potloads
of Yen (especially when only about 40% of the T.V series wasn't
stock footage). But I really think they're setting up a stool next
to this franchise and milking it for all its worth. When you consider
how impressive the music is in other series', the fact that there's
around 20 or so soundtracks for Evangelion is pretty bent.
