Strange thing is, I'm often told that Japanese people are shy and hesitant to approach foreiners, the women especially so. I'm also told that I don't have a particularly welcoming demeanor. This kid was a complete mystery. I can't shake the feeling that I'm going to see her again some day, like on T.V or something.
